Address from the Executive Board
Dear Delegates,
It is our privilege to welcome all of you to the Council of Lahore, 1929. We look forward to
your enthusiastic participation in putting across your opinions and ideas in an engaging
debate.
As once-delegates ourselves, we know the effort and brainwork involved in MUNning, and we hope
that this event captures your undivided interest and hones your factual knowledge. Furthermore,
we would also hope that your information about Indian history and past proceedings gets
enhanced.
Our committee aims to emphasize the struggle for India’s independence and the loopholes that
could have been avoided. We urge you all to take these issues seriously as we are the future of
our country.
While we value solid evidence and authenticity, we encourage you to think out of the box. More
importantly, we implore you to form your own informed opinions before you represent the
portfolios you have been assigned.
Here’s hoping that you all form a part of a successful and lively committee! We look forward to
seeing you there. Let’s picture a world without walls.
